Recycling tip: Making your own wax crayons

Last week, the kindergarten children "baked" new wax crayons from our very small wax crayon stumps.

To do this, the children simply sorted the old crayons by colour and placed them in a Lego baking tin or in normal paper moulds. Everything was then melted in the oven at 140-150 degrees. They put the moulds in the garden to harden more quickly. A short time later, the children used them for their new works of art.

A wonderful way to give old wax crayon remnants a new life and put them to good use.
